About

Takeshi Yamamoto ( 山本 武 ) was born in Tokyo, a city where movement, rhythm and precision are part of everyday life.
He began as a graffiti artist. Not in galleries, but on the street - on walls, passages and overlooked corners most people walk past without noticing. That’s where he learned to see motion, layers and balance.

Over time, the canvas changed.
Takeshi began painting on shoes. Not as fashion pieces, but as objects made to move. Every line was shaped with direction, weight and flow in mind. The shoes became a personal expression, somewhere between art and everyday use.

The move to London came naturally.
A city that understands street culture, design and sport in the same breath. There, Takeshi discovered running not as pure competition, but as part of urban life - long walks, early runs, daily movement through a city that never slows down.

In London, he realised the gap between design and comfort was still there. Shoes that look strong, but don’t always feel right over time. That’s where the idea was formed: to take the artistic language of graffiti, the discipline of Japanese design, and the urban rhythm of London, and translate them into running shoes.

Takeshi Yamamoto  is a brand built from real movement.
Running shoes with clean lines, considered materials and a natural feel from the first step.
